What is on your mind when you think of a modded controller? Is that you think of just a regular gaming piece of equipment or maybe a peripheral that helps casual gamers play better? Likely you figure yourself on that, when actually you are likely right.

Owning a couple of modded PS3 controllers can give some benefits if you are not doing so well in your most beloved FPS titles like Mass Effect 3. If that isn't the thing that is being difficult with you and your whole experience, or if you are a newplayer to the community, likely you bought one to to better of yourself so you aren't feeling down when going online. Yet, if you are hugely determined player, you probably have a cool gaming set of equipment in your house. You likely have all the equipment made for the PS3, though, it would be abnormal if you didn't own one or a few PS3 mods. If you do not seem to be an owner of a number of them or even one, then wouldn't you buy one? If you didn't, wouldn't your set up feel a bit abnormal?

There are advantages to being in possession of one. You have read about the perks they give to individuals who have played with them in first person games like MW3 and many of others, but what about the various other games out there? They can get a lot with a modded controller.

To put an example, there are a lot of other games out there that use on pressing the R2 trigger. Like in a fighting one, you can utilize of the rapid fire function to some quick yet helpful punching or kicking. You can make combos all thanks to your modded PS3 controllers.
