What happens when you're offered an excellent job but it involves a lot of driving? That's fine if you like driving but Sally had always been a really twitchy driver since she had a small accident right after she started driving. And now she had her ideal job but she would have to go to clients all over the town.

She asked her mom what she should do and her mom claimed to accept the job and go get a Garmin Nuvi 1490lmt GPS and that would resolve all of the issues. Sally didnt truly believe her mom but made a decision to follow her guidance and then put the Garmin GPS she had just acquired in her car and drive around for a while.

Sally was thrilled when she found out that the Garmin had a really bright backlit display with a 5 inch screen. So Sally was not distracted when she was glancing at it when she was driving, not she had to because the audio instructions were awfully clear and definite. Turn by turn directions were spoken out loud and the street names shown on the display.

Sally realized after reading the instructions that she could enter up to 10 different destinations and the Garmin would save them and order them so she could make the longest amount of time efficient plan for her day. This was superb.

Plus the Garmin gave lane steerage on the highway and navigated her thru the busy complicated intersections effortlessly all of the time showing the road signs on the display. She would never miss another exit. Even better was the feature where Sally could select an eco - route if she wished to save on gas and be environmentally conscious.

Another great feature was the proven fact that Garmin gives free lifetime traffic and map updates, irrespective of how often they changed the highways or road system Sallys GPS would never be outdated and yet she didnt ever have to update it or pay for updates.
