The audience of the BRAVIA KDL55EX500 is able to experience motion performance using the Motion-Flow Technology offered by Sony, which is able to reduce the blurring of images when viewing fast-paced games and movies. This allows for new TV frames to be inserted between normal frames in order to make smoother, more refined images. Motion-Flow technology permits new frames to be displayed by LCD televisions at a rate that is way faster. Every manufacturer has a brand name that is different from the other for the type of technology which makes up their HD TVs. The Motion-Flow technology is synonymous to Sony. Motion Interpolation is Sony's technical name for Motion-Flow.
