When you go to casting calls for TV commercials you will definitely see the casting directors and staff and quite possibly the TV producers. Be sure that you treat everyone you meet with equal respect. Because you never really know who is the one really in charge. You can find open auditions for commercials and also Atlanta auditions.

When it comes to be your turn to see the casting director, they may have already seen a boat load of people before you. This means that you don't want to push any buttons to irritate the casting directors even more. The worst is if you don't come prepared or if you waste someone's time. Being on your best behavior and being able to stand out from the rest can ensure your place in a role. Keep your resume and professionally taken headshot photo with you so that you can give it to the casting directors.

You want to make sure that you have your agent's information to give to the staff at the audition and casting call place. If you don't have an agent, you may want to consider getting one because they only get paid when they find you a job.Agents may be helpful if you don't have one. They will find you a job and won't get paid until they do. Then they will take usually around 10% of your paycheck for that job they found for you.)

The casting directors may ask you do whatever it is they want to do for the commercial. The best way to practice is to take an improv class. Casting directors will tell you to read some lines from the commercial so that they can make a decision if you are perfect for the role or not. If you are in the Chicago area, you can get casting calls.

Here are casting calls for you to apply to. Be sure to always be friendly and don't forget to smile. Good luck and I hope to see you in the next TV commercial audition.
